The 3rd Unfinished Novel • Unfinished, no title • Rizal wrote to Blumentritt that he’s writing a novel in Tagalog for his country-mates (not to the Spaniards, unlike the 1st 2 novels which were written in Spanish). • Later on, in another letter to Blumentritt, Rizal had difficulty expressing in Tagalog, so he shifted writing the novel in Spanish.
