Morgan Chase & Co. | Software Engineering (May'24 - June'24) - Developed a program to track the ratio between two stock prices, getting real-time updates from the Perspective framework. - Generated live graphs to display stock price ratio with upper & lower bounds set at a 10% threshold to the average ratio. - Optimized using a trigger mechanism to notify traders instantly upon crossing thresholds, reducing response time by 30%. PROJECTS • Algorithmic Trading (Python): Generates sheets to trade on S&P500 stocks. (Nov'23 - Dec'23) - Applied different trading strategies for trading in S&P 500 companies' stocks using stock market data from IEX Cloud API. - Designed algorithms for building an equal-weight index fund, a momentum investing strategy & a value investing strategy. - Optimized the algorithms by making batch API calls on batches of size 100 reducing response time by more than 50%. - Created an Excel sheet using the Python library XlsxWriter that lists stocks along with the number of shares to purchase. • Autocomplete System (Java): Gives a list of possible autocomplete options. (Jan'24 - Feb'24) - Implemented Trie data structure for word processing & prefix-based search from a custom list of 1000+ products. - Developed an additional function for adding new products to the search Trie, optimizing it for Dynamic Datasets. - Designed the system to handle large amounts of data, ensuring O(k) time for search operations, where k is the length of word. • Bank Management Structure(C++): Implementation of Bank Structure using HashMap. (March'24 - April'24) - Developed a bank structure for managing the bank database, ensuring that every account's data is retrievable & secure. - Optimized core functions with HashMap to achieve O(1) time complexity for basic transaction and data retrieval tasks. - Implemented collision handling techniques such as Chaining, Linear Probing, Quadratic Probing, and Cubic Probing. • Arithmetic Expression Parser (C++): Generates executable code for stack machines (April'24 - May'24) - Developed a program to convert fully parenthesized arithmetic expressions to machine code without evaluating it. - Implemented Parser structure converting expressions into expression trees & storing the list of expression trees to parse. - Optimized data retrieval with a custom AVL tree structure to store variable addresses, ensuring O(log(n)) time complexity. - Generated a file by parsing expression trees and simultaneously writing the corresponding machine code in the output file. TECHNICAL SKILLS • Programming languages: Java, C, C++, MATLAB, Python, SQL, Verilog, LaTeX. • Tools & Libraries: Git, MySQL, Jupyter Notebook, SolidWorks, NumPy, Matplotlib, pandas, XlsxWriter. POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITY • Representative, BSW (June, 2023 - May, 2024) : Elected unanimously to organize welfare activities in the institute. - Monitored welfare events including the Fresher's Onboarding of 1.3k+ students and Delhi Darshan of 200+ students. - Mentored 100+ freshmen of diverse backgrounds as primary POC, aiding them in adjusting to hostel & college life. EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES • Coordinator, Student-Teacher Interaction Dinner (STIC-D): Facilitated Professor-Student interaction through Dinner. - Organized the dinner, managing venue, catering, invitations & engagement activities to enhance participation. - Coordinated with hostel staff to execute the event, achieving highest participation of Professors among all hostels. • Mentor, Academic Mentorship Program: A program to help freshmen in courses via academically strong sophomores. - Conducted Hostel Sessions for 50+ freshmen to enhance their understanding of the course Engineering Mechanics. - Provided personal mentorship to students who faced difficulty in classes or missed classes for medical reasons.
