No retained products of conception are clearly visualized. **Cesarean Section Scar (Lower Uterine Segment):** * At the anterior lower uterine segment, corresponding to the prior Cesarean section scar, there is a **focal anechoic-to-hypoechoic defect within the myometrium, measuring approximately 3.0 cm in length.** 4. How will you manage this patient? (0.25 points each) 1.75 POINTS Answer: • Admit the patient and start IV fluids • Obtain wound cultures (Aerobic and anaerobic) • Correct patient’s anemia • Ensure glycemic control • Give antipyretic • Start patient on empiric antibiotics (+ 0.25pts for correct antibiotic regimen) o Clindamycin 900mg IV q8 + Gentamicin 3- 5mg/kg IV q24h o Cefoxitin 2g IV q6 + Gentamicin 3- 5mg/kg IV q24h o Piperacillin Tazobactam 4.5g IV q6 • Request for transvaginal ultrasound to assess depth of involvement
