41 - 45 Speaker 1: This is something which started in Japan, I think. I know that just going swimming is good for you, but it seems that if you go into fresh water in the middle of a forest, it is even better for you – not just your body but your brain, too. Speaker 2: If you have a dog, you must take it out once or twice a day and, if the animal is large, go for a long walk. The exercise is good for you, particularly in modern society, where many people sit at a desk all day. You don’t need to take a cat or a rabbit out, but just looking after another creature reduces stress. Speaker 3: Things like wheat in white and brown bread or rice are called grains – the seeds of a plant. They are good for you normally. But wheat and rice have changed a lot since they were first used 10,000 or more years ago. It is better to eat one of the grains which hasn’t changed, like quinoa or spelt. Less processing means healthier food. Speaker 4: This is a strange idea to improve your health, but scientists say it can really work. The idea is very simple. Read funny things, look at funny cartoons, tell jokes. Do that every day. These activities release good chemicals in your body. Speaker 5: Sometimes we are told by health experts that we should never eat candy or a bag of chips, But a better way of looking at this is to ask: Why do we eat pieces of candy or open a bag of chips? It is because we are hungry, of course. So we need to have healthy things like fruit, nuts, or yoghurt close to us instead of junk food for when we get hungry. ---THE END---
