What is Communication? Communication is:- The process of effectively transmitting information and common understanding from one person to another (Keyton, 2011). Where information is exchanged and understood with the intention to inform, motivate or influence behaviour. HOW YOU SAY WHAT YOU SAY PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN COMMUNICATION.
Types of Communication # Communication can be relayed through three (3) methods/channels. Verbal Written Non-verbal To allow for effective communication, the officer must be able to choose the most appropriate channel to get their message across to the designated receiver.
