What is Communication? Communication is:- The process of effectively transmitting information and common understanding from one person to another (Keyton, 2011). Types of Communication # Communication can be relayed through three (3) methods/channels. Verbal Written Non-verbal To allow for effective communication, the officer must be able to choose the most appropriate channel to get their message across to the designated receiver.
