Given below are two statements : Assertion (A) and Reason (R). Indicate your answer using the following codes : Assertion (A) : In a regression equation slope represents the predicted value of y when x is equal to zero. Reason (R) : In multiple regression researcher tries to predict the value of DV based on different values of IV. Codes : (A) Both (A) and (R) are true and (R) is the correct explanation of (A) (B) Both (A) and (R) are true, but (R) is not the correct explanation of (A) (C) (A) is true, but (R) is false (D) (A) is false, but (R) is true 5. Given below are two statements : Assertion (A) and Reason (R). Indicate your answer using the following codes : Assertion (A) : Scores on a new test show poor correlation with scores obtained on a standard test reflecting low validity. Reason (R) : Temporal stability of test scores reflects high test - retest reliability. Codes : (A) Both (A) and (R) are true and (R) is the correct explanation of (A) (B) Both (A) and (R) are true, but (R) is not the correct explanation of (A) (C) (A) is true, but (R) is false (D) (A) is false, but (R) is true PSYCHOLOGY PAPER – III Instructions : This paper contains seventy-five (75) objective type questions.
