PART 1 1. Work or study Audio 1. What subjects are you studying? I'm currently a student in high school, so there are about 13 subjects that I have to study over three years. However, my major emphasizes three subjects: Math, Literature, and English. 2. Why did you choose to study that subject? At first, I was torn between Literature and Physics, as I can do well in Math and English. But then I realized I'm the type of dreamer so I chose to follow my current major. 3. Do you prefer to study in the mornings or the afternoons? Studying in the morning will always be beneficial as I wake up fresh after a good sleep, thus it helps me to retain the content faster. Furthermore, in the morning, there is a general silence everywhere which ameliorates my concentration! 4. What technology do you use when you study? I attend online classes and compose my essays on my laptop, especially now that the covid epidemic has spread. I now handle my assignments online, which is a blessing in disguise because it's so much simpler than it used to be. 5. Are you looking forward to working? To be honest, I am eager to join the labor force as I want to relieve my mother’s financial burden. I hope to get employment with a respectable wage that will enable me to cover my expenses. 6. What do you do for a living? At the moment, I work as a freelance copywriter. Since I was a college student, I have loved doing this. I have a great passion for digital marketing, and I feel very fortunate to have a profession that allows me to make money while also having the freedom to create without having to spend all day in an office. 7. Do you like your job? Yes, I do. Despite the small amount of money, I think it lays the groundwork for me to develop into a stronger marketer in the future. Additionally, I get to improve my English frequently. The freedom to work whenever and wherever I choose without being constrained is what I value most. 8. Is that a popular job in your country? I'm not sure. I assume marketing is a common career option overall, but few individuals can find love in copywriting since they perceive it to be a mundane profession. In that situation, I can't blame them, because having to produce the same stuff for days on end may get very boring. 9. Do you miss being a student? Yes, indeed. I graduated from college ten years ago, and occasionally I get nostalgic. I miss living in a dorm with friends, attending courses every day, and staying up late studying for examinations. Student life was full of joy and excitement. I wished I could go back in time and relive those good memories. 10. What technology do you use at work? I use several tools and applications that are helpful at work. For instance, during the Covid 19 blackout, I utilized Zoom, a technology program that allows me to offer online lessons. It's incredibly handy and worth trying. Hometown Audio 1. Where is your hometown? I used to live in a small city situated in the heart of our country for 18 years. However, I had to move to another city for higher education yet my hometown always holds a special place in my heart. 2. Is that a big city or a small place? Just like I’ve mentioned, my hometown is just a small town. That said, it provides all residents with necessary amenities ranging from medical care to various restaurants. 3. Do you like your hometown?
