Anyone can list out micro-action & stimuli chains. Anyone can design stimuli. But that doesn’t mean they’re going to get results ($$$). You only get results ($$$) when you have effective stimuli. Effective: the word used to describe a stimulus that successfully triggers its assigned action. Effectiveness isn’t binary. A stimulus isn’t simply ‘effective’ or ‘ineffective’, in regards to it triggering an action. Instead, we look at effectiveness as a spectrum. 100% Effectiveness: the metric the stimulus is attributed to is way above KPI 0.00% Effectiveness: the metric the stimulus is attributed to it way below KPI Remember that more often than not, stimuli work in pairs, trios or quads (as key variables), so you could have a super effective stimulus, but if you pair it with an ineffective stimulus, it’s effectiveness cancels out. Example: you can have the best YouTube thumbnail in the world, but if you have the worst video title in the world, the video won’t get clicks. The premise here is simple: the more likely a stimulus is to trigger its assigned action, the more effective it is. Now for the important questions: What determines whether or not a stimulus has high effectiveness? How do we know what creates a good stimulus? How do we get people to take action with our stimuli? The truth is that most people think it’s luck. They’re wrong. The Human Component‍♀️ Humans in your niche determine the effectiveness of a stimulus. They set the conditions for what is or is not effective. What is a human? Human = Body + Mind
