Speech is anything which contains human language. In this project, we transcribe speech even if it is not grammatically correct — including: ● hesitations ("ಉಹ್", "ಹೂನ್"), ● colloquial words ("ಗೊ ನ್ನಾ", "ನಿಂಗ್ ಏನ್ ಬೇ ಕು", “ನಾನು ಹೆಂಗ್ ಮಾಡ್ತೀನಿ ಅಂದರೆ”), and ● repeated words ("ನಾನು ಹೇ ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಹೇ ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ"). ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾನವ ಭಾಷೆ ಒಳಗೊ ಂಡಿರುವ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋ ಜನೆಯು ವ್ಯಾ ಕರಣಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ ಸಹ ನಾವು ಭಾಷಣವನ್ನು ನಕಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ - ಸೇ ರಿದಂತೆ: ● ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆ (ಉಹ್, ಹೂನ್) ● ಆಡುಮಾತಿನ ಪದಗಳು (“ಗೊ ನ್ನಾ”, “x” “ನಿಂಗ್ ಏನ್ ಬೇ ಕು”, “ನಾನು ಹೆಂಗ್ ಮಾಡ್ತೀನಿ ಅಂದರೆ” ) ● ಪುನರಾವರ್ತಿ ತ ಪದಗಳು ("ನಾನು ಹೇ ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಹೇ ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ"). Some speech, however, is unintelligible or overlaps with other speech from a different speaker. Non-speech sounds which occur during speech also need to be tagged. If non-speech sounds such as music, laughter, coughing, clicks, and bangs occur within 1 second of speech, these sounds should be tagged.
