As long as you give it some water and sunshine, it can spread densely over a large area. It has a strong survivability. A plant disparaged by the literati. But in reality, more often than not, this is what life is. You have to push yourself to the ground in order to endure through it all. The characterisation of the main character of the story, Qiao Fengtian, is like the caomoli. Lowly and inelegant, yet radiant and unyielding. One of the reasons for the inconsistent division could be because the story went through editing.
