Look, gnomes and fairies now appear We discover them in play. Let’s capture them and keep them safe, We want them here to stay! 1. (page 3) Explain to students that the prefix re means doing again. 2. Select student/s to reread the rhyme replacing these words with the list words. 3. It is a holiday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who, according to the Christian religion, is the son of God. The name is a joining of “Christ” and “mass” which means the holy mass (supper, celebration or festival) of Christ. Easter is the most important Christian festival of the years – it’s when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that Christ died on the cross on a day called Good Friday. According to the Bible, Jesus was then resurrected and came back to life on Easter Sunday.
