Had this happened every member could have potentially lost their account even if they were not direct Participants in the conversation. The reputational damage this could have caused, and the damage to peoples accounts it would bring is not worth the risk, so a hard ban was placed and firmly enforced. It alerted me to start looking at how the server members were conducting themselves.
