We are offering it in this form, because we see it is crucial to share it now, for the learning objectives of Module 2. The final ebook is intended as a beginner’s guide to discussing as well as addressing Earth Overshoot in organisations and other professional contexts. It will be published in the next few weeks, and you will receive your own copy when it is ready. This draft and the broader ebook is being written and edited by a collective of authors and contributors as a passion projection for now - in not yet remunerated time - because we see the need for it to exist. (This draft does not identify the authors yet - as we wish for their approval in attaching their names publicly to projections and findings that are still outside the Overton Window, given the potential career implications. We will receive the approval in the weeks to come and share the names of the team with you). At arkH3, we’re self-financed and independent. This allows us to address topics that we see as most pressing, and be undiluted in what findings we share and in what words, in the interest of bringing about transformational change at scale, without having to cater or bow to funding providers. The effort that we have invested into the research, writing and compilation of this resource has not been remunerated yet, and will be paid for through people and organisations purchasing their licensed copies. Distributing insights via PDFs and digital resources carries a more favourable environmental footprint, however ensuring proper compensation for the authors proves much more difficult than with a physical book or a product.
