MATERIALS - Grade 9 textbook, Unit 6, Getting started - Computer connected to the Internet - Projector / TV - hoclieu.vn Activity 1: Warm-up (5’) a. Aim - To activate students’ knowledge on the topic of the unit. - To lead in to the unit. b. Content: - Think! Find the differences between the 2 pictures - Q&A c. Expected outcomes: - Students can have some idea about lifestyles. d. Organisation: Teacher’s and Ss’activities Content * Warm up - The teacher shows some pairs of pictures related to the past and present - T asks Ss to say the differences between the 2 Pictures - Ask Ss what aspect of life they think has changed (transportation, fashion, entertainment, shopping, travelling, learning…)? - Share with Ss the objectives of the lesson. - Have Ss open their books and start the lesson. * Warm up: Find the differences between the 2 pictures * Keys: 1/ Relax by taking photos and selfies - Relax by reading books 2/ Traditional games, folk games - Video games 3/ Watching big screen movies outdoors -Watching movies in the cinema 4/ Wedding go by bicycle - Weddings go by car Activity 2: Presentation (5’) * Pre teach vocabulary a.
