STORY: THE FOREST OF HUGS AGES: 4-5 STORY CONTENT LESSON PLAN Page 1 In the middle of a quiet forest, there’s a very special place – a place where hugs are everywhere. Big hugs, small hugs, soft hugs, silly hugs. Everyone hugs everyone Page 2 Well... almost everyone. Hedgey the little hedgehog doesn’t get hugs. “I want a hug,” Hedgey says softly, “but no one wants to hug me.” Page 3 Bunny hops over with a happy smile. “Do you want a hug, Hedgey?” Hedgey nods quickly. Bunny leans in, but then jumps back. “Ouch! You’re too spiky!” Page 4 Squirrel brings a cookie to share. “You look sad, Hedgey. Want a pat?” Squirrel reaches out but stops. “Oh no... you’re too sharp. I’m sorry. Page 5 Hedgey sits under a tree, all by himself. “I don’t want to be spiky,” he whispers to the wind. A little tear falls down his nose.
Page 6 Then someone walks over and sits down beside him. It’s Little Bear. “Hi,” Bear says gently. “I saw you sitting alone.” “Do you want a hug?” Page 7 Hedgey looks up. “I do,” he says, “but I can’t be hugged.” Bear thinks for a moment, then smiles wide. “Maybe we can try something new.” Page 8 Bear picks up a big soft leaf and gently wraps it around Hedgey’s back. Then he opens his arms. “Now let’s try!” And they hug carefully, but warmly. Page 9 The forest animals come closer. “Can we try too?” they ask. With scarves, pillows, and soft leaves, they all take turns hugging Hedgey. He giggles and hugs back. Page 10 That night, under the stars, Hedgey whispers,“There is always a way to love someone even if it takes a little time.” And now, the Forest of Hugs is even warmer than before.

JOIN 10’ - 15' Làm quen với bạn nhím Hedgey: Giáo viên lấy rối hoặc tranh in bạn nhím Hedgey ra và nói: “This is Hedgey. Hedgey is a hedgehog. He’s small... and a little spiky!” Cô cho bạn Hedgey đi vòng quanh lớp “chào” các bạn bằng cách... hơi chạm nhẹ vào trẻ Hỏi trẻ: “Do you want to hug Hedgey?” → Trẻ sẽ cười và phản ứng: “No!” hoặc “Ouch!” (cô giả bộ đau khi chạm vào lông bạn nhím) Giới thiệu từ vựng bằng thẻ tranh: Cô giơ thẻ, giới thiệu từng từ vựng. Đọc các từ thật rõ ràng, cho trẻ đọc theo. Với mỗi từ hãy sử dụng một hành động tương ứng để giúp trẻ vừa đọc vừa làm theo. Mini game cảm xúc: “Happy or Sad?” Cô đưa tranh mặt Hedgey lúc buồn → hỏi: “Is Hedgey happy or sad?” Trẻ làm mặt giống tranh Dẫn nhập vào phần kể chuyện: “Let’s listen to Hedgey’s story...” ABSORB 15’ KỂ CHUYỆN: Giáo viên dùng tạp dề kể chuyện: giáo viên để sẵn các con vật (nhím, thỏ, sóc, gấu, lá...) trong tạp dề. Khi kể, giáo viên dùng giọng kể sinh động, diễn lại cảm xúc của nhân vật và nhấn vào các từ khoá. LUYỆN TẬP TỪ VỰNG: Trò chơi “Soft or Sharp?” Giáo viên đưa các đồ vật thật/giả (lá mềm, đầu bút chì, khăn, gối nhỏ...) Trẻ chạm vào → gọi “Soft!” hay “Sharp!” MAKE 5' Trò chơi “Touch and Guess” Chuẩn bị một chiếc túi bí mật có: lá mềm, bút chì, khăn nhung, mảnh xốp, miếng bìa nhọn...
