BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH Uris Lantz Caldo Baldos was born on March 29, 1984 at the Los Baños Doctors’ Hospital, Los Baños, Laguna. He was the fourth child of Mrs. Sergia and Mr. Danilo Baldos. At an early age of 5, he attended nursery at Christian School International. During his elementary years in Maquling School Incorporated, he participated in various plays wherein he discovered his skills in acting and stage play. Being a youngster, he was always energetic, playful but sometimes his escapades almost border the line of being troublesome. Inheriting the inquisitive mind of his father and mother, he completed his primary education with honors. Moreover, his competitive academic training during elementary years enabled him to pursue his secondary education in University of the Philippines Rural High School. During his high school years, his love for money was nurtured as he was always elected as the treasurer of his class. He also joined the Speech and Dramatics Club (SDC) and was elected as Assistant Treasurer of the Student Government (SG). His previous experience in acting also enabled him to win several acting awards in his high school stage plays. Aside from this, he represented his school during soccer tournaments, as he became a member of the UP Rural Soccer Varsity Team. During graduation, he was given a service award for his participation to different school activities. His fondness in finances and fund management compelled him to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in the University of the Philippines at Los Baños. With his focusing solely in academics, he only encountered minor difficulties in his college subjects. His above average grades allowed him to be invited by different honor societies namely Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society, UP Chapter, Phi Gamma Mu, Philippine Alpha Chapter, and Gamma Sigma Delta honor society of Agriculture, Los Baños. After graduation, he plans gain firsthand experience in the business world by working in an international company. In the near future, he desires to pursue further studies in business and management abroad.
