ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE ➢ Organizational structure (OS) is the systematic arrangement of human resources in an organization so as to achieve common business objectives. ➢ It outlines the roles and responsibilities of every member of the organization so that work and information flow seamlessly, ensuring the smooth functioning of an organization. ➢ The organizational structure often shows the “chain of command” and how information moves within the company. ➢ Employees want to understand their job responsibilities, whom they report to, what decisions they can and should make and how they interact with other people and teams within the company.
