(Khác chủ ngữ)  In spite of her interesting story, everyone was so sleepy.  Because/As/Since + S + V, S + V: Bởi vì = Because of/Due to/Owing to 4- N/V-ing Áp dụng tương tự như trường hợp của although/even though/though bên trên. Ví dụ: She didn’t go to work yesterday because she was sick. (Đồng chủ ngữ.)  She didn’t go to work yesterday because of being sick. Because the weather was bad, we canceled the picnic.
